Marimark Realty was founded by Mary Catchur, a Florida CPA who became involved in the real estate industry as the Chief Financial Officer for one of the first online virtual real estate companies in 1999.  At a time when most realtors were just beginning to access the power of the internet, Mary was building a team of brokers and over 500 agents throughout 28 states.

Through this experience, Mary became very attuned to the needs of both buyers and sellers of properties and where in the homebuying process difficulties were often encountered.  As a result, she recognized the need to develop a full service real estate company that addressed those issues, making the entire process smooth, efficient and enjoyable.

She began by incorporating both Marimark Mortgage and Marimark Realty in 2006.  In spite of the state of the industry at the time, she was successful in building a business that has received consistently positive reviews and continues to grow and serve the needs of homebuyers.  Marimark Mortgage has served as the platform for the development of a network of providers that allow Marimark Realty to be a one stop shopping experience for homebuyers and sellers.
